As 2016 closes, we're reflecting back on the many milestones we've achieved as a company this year:
Customers and Partners
Versasec added nearly 50 customers in 13 countries during 2016. These enterprises selected Versasec vSEC:CMS to help them manage their access and identity management solutions in key verticals including government, healthcare, technology, financial services and energy and utilities. In addition, we added 15 new partners in 2016, announcing formal relationships with PrimeKey, IDpendant, Yubico, ZiggTV and DigiCert. Versasec is currently working with more than 100 partners and has many more in the works for 2017.
Product Introductions and Awards
We improved on our award-winning vSEC:CMS S-Series product and can now say it supports the most smart cards, tokens, RFID and virtual smart cards in the industry. And our hard work paid off. The vSEC:CMS S-Series was awarded an InfoSecurity Magazine Global Excellence Award, and we were named a CIO Insights Top 10 Security and Risk Management Solutions Provider for 2016. In addition, we've been shortlisted for several 2017 awards including SC Magazine's SC Awards and a Cybersecurity Excellence award (click here to vote for us!).
During 2016, the Versasec team opened an office in Silicon Valley and hired a new General Manager for North America. We also increased our overall workforce by 36 percent and now have offices in Menlo Park, New York, Stockholm, Germany and the United Kingdom. We're expanding rapidly and will announce additional new offices and hires in the new year. We're hiring! We wish all our employees, customers and partners a Happy New Year!
