Carolina Martinez, a longtime executive at Versasec partner Gemalto, is joining our team as Director of U.S. Operations and we couldn't be happier. As part of our team, Carolina is responsible for one of our most important markets and her work includes establishing new customer relationships, overseeing customer interactions and ensuring customer satisfaction across the Americas.
Because of her extensive work experience in the smart card industry, Carolina fully understands the importance of managing those cards. "Every business, large and small, must protect its data with more than just password logins, and the best means for doing so is with well-managed smart cards and virtual smart cards," she says.
Carolina adds: "I've known the Versasec team since long before the company's inception, and I've been impressed with their technology, their growth, the way they tackle the market and their expanding customer base. I am happy to help move this impressive company forward."
Carolina comes to us with more than 25 years' experience in working with smart cards, digital security, identity access management tools, team building, customer service, sales and more, will be based in Austin, Texas.
Carolina speaks several languages and has lived in several different countries. One of her greatest takeaway from her experiences, she says, is her adaptability and flexibility - all good things when you're working in a global business.
