vSEC:CMS S-Series Version 4.7 has been Released!
Users of Versasec solutions take note: we've released vSEC:CMS S-Series version 4.7. This latest iteration of our flagship product includes some of the key features you've asked for, including a new server-based search algorithm that improves smart card repository search speed when using SQL databases, and new role-generation templates.
New US Presidential Administration can Avoid "Podesta Effect"
There's nothing like a regime change to expose where government could beef up its cybersecurity efforts. Nowhere is that truer than in the US today, where the Donald Trump presidency is vowing for much stronger protections for the government's data.
That's welcome news to anyone but enemies of the US, and it's a trend more and more enterprises of all sizes are embracing as well.
Authentication and Identity Management on the Rise in 2017
More than nine out of 10 organizations are using two-factor authentication to protect at least one application, according to a recent Gemalto survey on Authentication and Identity Management. Gemalto polled 1,150 IT decision makers from around the globe in late 2016 to gain insights into organizations' identity and access management practices.
The poll results are welcome fodder for security companies who have been saying all along that multiple-factor user authentication is among the easiest and most effective means for protecting an organization's most valuable assets.
2017 Comes Roaring In
2017 is already in full swing, and we had a busy few weeks leading up to the New Year. We hope you all had a joyous and healthy holiday season.
We have set up a new office based in Dubai with our new sales manager, Mohamed Amine Elalami, as well as announced our new partnership with GRC3D.
Versasec Ends 2016 on a High Note
As 2016 closes, we're reflecting back on the many milestones we've achieved as a company this year. We have grown exponentially since Versasec was founded in 2007, expanding on our customer and partner base, product awards and downloads. We have also increased the overall workforce by 36%!
2017 Versasec Security Trends Survey
Our late fall 2016 global survey of IT and cybersecurity professionals has turned up some interesting trends for 2017, not the least of which is that more and more companies are and will be using multi-factor authentication to secure their data.
Information technology executives in small- and medium-sized companies as well as larger enterprises say technology trends including mobile, bring-your-own-devices, and cloud usage post their biggest security challenges as they head into 2017.
