Welcoming Back Christian Telle as Sr. Software Developer

We were pleased to learn of the Research and Development team’s expansion in Germany. This excitement was further amplified upon the appointment of Christian Telle. Christian’s role is particularly significant, as he has been a valued collaborator on numerous projects for the past eight years, operating as an independent contractor.

We are delighted to formally welcome Christian to the team as a full-time employee. His established expertise and deep familiarity with our projects will undoubtedly contribute significantly to our ongoing initiatives.

Yvonne: Christian, welcome back! How does it feel being back at Versasec?

Christian: I am genuinely enthusiastic about joining the Versasec team and collaborating with both familiar and new colleagues. My longstanding professional relationship with Joerg, our CTO, has always been highly productive. Our effective communication, facilitated by a shared language and a strong understanding, creates a seamless working environment. Furthermore, Versasec’s global and multicultural team dynamic is particularly appealing.

Yvonne: Wonderful! And congrats on your new role. I wonder if you can share what you will be working on.

Christian: Yes, of course, I cannot share everything, but I can say that it’s related to our FIDO initiatives. I started back in February. I am based in our German Research and Development office, collaborating with our international colleagues. I am pleased to be able to contribute to the development of this rapidly adopted authentication method, and to apply my expertise.

A key aspect I value at Versasec is the emphasis on fostering a holistic understanding of our projects. Even when our individual tasks are focused on specific components, we are encouraged to grasp the broader project scope. This collaborative environment promotes a shared commitment to common goals, where contributions and ideas are welcomed from all team members.

Yvonne: Certainly! What is one thing you remember from your time with Versasec in 2017?

Christian: Not a lot, funny you ask. But I do remember working on the load balancing feature for the vSEC:CMS server, which I’m glad to see is a key functionality in our product today. Back then, I started working alongside Vincent, who is still part of the Versasec family today. It’s good to see him again and be able to reconnect.

Yvonne: Joerg, our CTO has emphasized your impressive technical background. Could you elaborate on your experience as a developer, and tell us about your key areas of expertise?

Christian: My professional background encompasses a diverse range of industries, including television broadcasting, sports timekeeping, and e-commerce marketplaces. I have experience in both team management and collaborative team environments. My technical expertise, developed over 20 years, centers on programming languages such as C++, C#, and the .NET framework.

Yvonne: People at Versasec are very excited to hear of your return. Share with those of us who don’t know you, a bit about yourself.

Christian: Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, particularly to Spain, where I’ve been learning the language. My leisure activities also include sailing, motorcycling, and spending time with my children – two teenage sons and a young daughter.
