Twelve versions later, we are closing the vSEC:CMS version 6 feature set and welcoming 7.0! With this new version, we’re rolling out a mature FIDO credential management system. Get ready! Version 7.0 is tentatively scheduled for release within the next couple of days.
What a milestone for all our customers and clients who use our products daily. We have the IT administrators and directors in mind with every version created and released. We are adapting to the technologies they need to secure their assets and their employees. Version 6 was all about whether we were adapting fast enough. But 7.0 is focused on “We are leading the way.” Together with our technology partners, we are creating the most secure products and processes that will be the most secure, efficient, and budget-friendly for our clients.
Version 7.0 builds significantly upon the foundation laid by 6.12. Version 6.12, released in November 2024, contains capabilities developed in collaboration with hardware token vendors and identity providers to implement security features that our clients needed and were asking for with FIDO authentication. It established a new benchmark in identity and access management. We will continue to push boundaries side-by-side with authentication hardware providers and work together for the future of cybersecurity.
